CNC Machining

Vertical CNC Milling

Vertical CNC Milling has been around for quite some time.  Software generated code is imported into machines to create a product, mold, or object that is quite accurate, durable, and can be very detailed.  There are natural limitations to every process and so the part either needs to be designed carefully for this process or may need to be reoriented to make all the necessary cuts.

Depending on the particular machine, angled cuts are possible, angled cutters allow for creation of specific angles, and of course hole drilling can be performed with CNC Vertical mills.  The overall concept of this machine is pretty universal in that a round end mill which can vary in shapes and flutes, spins in the collet and shaves material off of the target object.  This is done layer by layer until the process is complete and the product is transformed.
